I’m honored to be a 2014 Woman of the Year candidate.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year (MWOY) is a spirited 10-week fundraising campaign to help find cures for blood cancers. Candidates are nominated by their peers to raise the most money in honor of their own mission connections, or in honor of local pediatric cancer patients, our Boys & Girls of the Year. Every dollar equals a ‘vote’; whoever gets the most ‘votes’ wins! The candidates who raise the most money during the campaign will be awarded the title of NYC’s Man or Woman of the Year at our Grand Finale Gala in early June.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding research for new treatments and cures for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, and provides critical education, services and support to patients and families batting these cancers.
